Is your yoga practice becoming stale (or: predictable)? Do you have nagging injuries you can't seem to shake? Are there postures you feel you're never going to be able to do comfortably? Half an hour after you have finished your practice, are you as stressed and distracted as you were before you began it?
If so, it's time for you to discover Yoga with Brad.
Developed by Brad over the past eleven years, Yoga with Brad engages every aspect of your physical, emotional and spiritual intelligence. While the class may look like a marginally slower version of an ordinary flow class, its aims are quite different: to use yoga to change not only the structure of your body but also the patterns which block and limit the way you think and feel. Compassionate, focused and aware, Deep Yoga works gently to clear your mind and heal your spirit, while still developing a strong, joyous physical practice.
Yoga with Brad is a breath-centered, heart-opening, peaceful invitation to healing and transformation. This is a kind practice, full of patience, ahimsa, and the willingness to adapt yoga to you -- not force you or your body into a particular yoga pose or practice.
Brad has studied Hatha yoga with Max Strom, Saul David Raye, Sarah Powers, Georg Feuerstein, Gabriella Giubilaro, and Tias Little. He has taught yoga at Exhale since its opening and has also instructed at Maha Yoga, Dance Home, and Brentwood Yoga. For Brad, yoga is a transformational and healing practice for and from the heart. This is what inspires and motivates him to share this path with others. With a background as a symphony and opera conductor, Brad has been profoundly influenced in his life and teaching by the heart-first example of his mentor, Leonard Bernstein.

See you on the beach!
Brad hosts Yoga Quartets at his home in West Los Angeles. These are various workshops/intensives that are taught in
his apartment, which snugly has space for 4 mats, thus the name "quartets." The
advantage of only four yogis at a time lies in the amount of attention and detailed practice each of you can receive, compared to a large workshop or class. Invitations are sent out monthly. Please write to Brad directly at bradkeimach@gmail.com to be included on the Yoga Quartets mailing list.
Brad is available for private yoga sessions, to deepen your practice, to fine-tune poses, or to learn variations and adjustments to accommodate special needs, such as recovery from injury/congenital birth defects/emotional trauma. If you are seeking such assistance, please contact Brad directly at 310.826.6958, or bradkeimach@gmail.com
Yoga with Brad CDs
Brad is offering three "Yoga with Brad" CDs, in several levels:
- Level 1-2
- Level 2
- Level 2-3
These are all live classes (done in a recording studio), with great sound, without music. You can play them on a cd player, or load them into your ipod for travel, or even give them as gifts!
Each of the cds is $20, and are made to order. They can be brought to you at any of Brad's yoga classes, or mailed to you (free shipping). To order, please call Brad at 310.826.6958, or email him at bradkeimach@gmail.com, and you will receive the cds in 1-2 days.
Special Yoga Classes/Workshops
SYMPHONIC YOGA
This is an All-Level Vinyasa Flow class, set to classical music. The composers whose music will accompany this special class include
Mozart, Beethoven, Debussy, Verdi, Puccini, Ravel, Tchaikovsky, Brahms,
Strauss, and Mendelssohn, among others.
Come and see how your practice
feels, and how your breath moves, when accompanied by some of the towering
geniuses of classical music! This is an extraordinary experience!
WHAT THE ^%$#*&^% WAS I THINKING?
Where is your mind in your yoga practice? Where is your mind in your life?
Do you find your mind is leading you around to do its bidding, either in dictating your feelings, directing your thoughts, or urging your actions -- in conflict with your highest good? Do you wonder what part the mind should play in your life? And if so, HOW can you teach the mind to play the right part?
This workshop is a chance to look at the mind and its workings, and learn how to train the mind to make it work for your highest good. Choosing one's thoughts is not as easy as it sounds, but it is possible. You can take control of how you think. The applications of this skill to one's everyday life are infinite, and the results create happiness, contentment and fulfillment possible, perhaps as never before.
Controlling the mind is a conscious practice, just as learning any art or skill is.
The workshop will include a lecture on the workings of the mind, followed by a yoga practice, and will conclude with a discussion and Q and A session, with a chance to explore your experience and relationship with your own mind.
This workshop is suitable for all levels. No prior experience required. Just bring your mind, and the willingness to change.
To book either of these workshops at your facility, contact Brad at 310.826.6958 or bradkeimach@gmail.com
